๐Ÿ’™ MK MHST Summer Anxiety Groups ๐Ÿ’™

The Milton Keynes Mental Health Support Team (MK MHST) are offering evidence-based summer holiday groups for children aged 8โ€“12 and their parent/carers to learn practical ways to understand panic and worry, manage anxiety, and build healthy coping skills together.

๐ŸฅŠ๐Ÿ’ช Boxing Intervention Sessions at Walton High Brooklands ๐Ÿ’ช๐ŸฅŠ

Weโ€™re pleased to be working with an external boxing company to deliver a weekly intervention programme here at school.

This term, a group of Year 9 boys have been taking part in one-hour sessions each week. Itโ€™s been fantastic to see the students engaging so positively and supporting one another throughout the sessions. ๐ŸŒŸ

As part of Brooklands Culture Week this June, we are excited to launch our Culture Week Photography Competition!

This competition is open to local residents, parents, students and staff - weโ€™d love to see your creativity and perspective. ๐Ÿ‘

The categories are 'My Community', 'All About Me' and 'My Culture'.

๐ŸŽถ Celebrating Our Talented Music Students! ๐ŸŽถ

Our library came alive with music, creativity, and confidence during our Library Music Session yesterday .

Students delighted the audience with a wonderful variety of performances, showcasing their talents on different instruments as well as through voice. From instrumental pieces to vocal performances, every contribution added something special to the atmosphere and made the event truly memorable.

We are so proud of all the students who took part - your courage to perform and your passion for music really shone through! ๐ŸŒŸ

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support their peers and helped create such a warm and encouraging environment.

We were delighted to host the Milton Keynes Model Railway Societyโ€™s Exhibition last weekend - and what a success it was! ๐ŸŽ‰

The event welcomed an incredible 966 adults and nearly 250 children, and we were thrilled to hear that they received extremely positive feedback, with many visitors describing it as โ€œthe best show in Milton Keynes for yearsโ€!

A huge thank you to the Milton Keynes Model Railway Society for choosing our school as their venue, and to everyone who came along to support the event! ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿ’™

This morning, CHUMS (Milton Keynes Emotional Wellbeing Service) delivered a fantastic workshop for some of our students and parents on โ€˜Managing Your Fears and Worriesโ€™.

The session provided valuable insights and strategies to help build confidence in understanding and managing anxiety.
