ARTIST CALL OUT: TORSO
TORSO — a bold, collaborative q***r sculpture project led by artist Alice Bond-Rhodes.
This is an opportunity to co-create a large-scale human torso through a series of workshops, exploring powerful themes including identity, gender, the body, authorship, and public interaction.
✨ Who is it for?
• Artists and creatives of all kinds
• Q***r-identifying individuals (encouraged, not required)
• Anyone interested in visual arts, collaboration, and exploring identity
• No formal training needed
Residency Dates: 3rd, 4th & 5th September
10:30am – 3:30pm
MK Gallery – Project Space
£220 fee per artist

We are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our performers earlier this week. Mike was an exceptional artist who contributed to many Black Sheep projects over the years. We are grateful to have worked with such a vibrant, talented, and genuinely kind person.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. He will be greatly missed.

Black Sheep’s Thursday Youth Club, held at The Rowan’s Family Centre, is back this evening after the half-term break. It’s open to everyone aged 8 to 17. We have activities, refreshments, and a safe space to relax. If you would like book your child's spot, just use the link below, but we are a drop-in service so kids are welcome to just pop by too!
