After the GCSE examinations in June, I continued working with my students for a further month, up until the beginning of the summer holidays.
I am always proud to acknowledge the dedication and hard work demonstrated by all of my students, π¨βπ» and I am pleased to share that the 2025β2026 academic year has been another successful one , not only for them, but for myself as well. This year, I graduated with Distinction in my Masterβs degree in Psychology,π₯π©βπ
Also, I successfully completed my assessments in CBT, ACT, and other therapeutic approaches within clinical coaching, and passed my Medium Risk Assessment with Overcome π©ββοΈπ
I am deeply grateful to Overcome, an exceptional UK charity and training provider that supports individuals around the world who are experiencing mental health challenges and difficult life circumstances, while also delivering high-quality training and supervision for aspiring clinical coaches. π₯β€οΈβπ©Ή
I now look forward to celebrating my studentsβ GCSE results in August.πππ₯ In the meantime, I hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved and restorative summer break ahead of the 2026β2027 academic year βοΈβ±οΈπππ

The last two weeks have been incredibly busy for my students. As GCSE exams approach, it is completely understandable that many begin to feel anxious and overwhelmed. π¬
In these final sessions, I focus not only on revising key topics and strengthening academic knowledge, but also on helping students manage stress and build confidence. A calmer mind often leads to clearer thinking and better performance. π
One of the most rewarding parts of my work is seeing how much young people grow over the years. Some of my students have been learning with me for over 10 years, from the age of 5 through to 15 or 16, and it has been a privilege to support their journey. π¨βπ
This year, I am saying goodbye to seven GCSE students. It is always emotional to see them move on to the next stage of their lives, but I couldn't be prouder of everything they have achieved. π§
I wish them every success in their future studies and careers. They all know that my door is always open, whether for a catch-up, support, guidance on university and subject choices, or mental health coaching. πΊ
Good luck to all students sitting exams this summer. Your hard work will be worth it. πππ

GCSE exams are back after a short break, and I would like to wish all my students the very best in their remaining exams. As a Psychology Master's graduate, I understand how much mental health can affect students' performance and final results. I support students by teaching techniques that help them feel calm, focused, and confident, including effective revision strategies, taking regular breaks, staying present rather than constantly worrying, going for walks, and maintaining healthy eating habits.
Good luck to everyone sitting their exams β you've got this!

The GCSE exam season is now in full swing. My students have been working incredibly hard, and I can only wish them the very best π
The next few weeks can be the most challenging and stressful, with many hours of revision and preparation ahead. However, I always remind my students how important it is to take breaks and reward themselves with small things, whether thatβs going for a walk or calling a friend after revision, to stay motivated and avoid feeling overwhelmed. π
Good luck to everyone sitting their exams! πππ€

Unfortunately, First Tutors has suddenly shut down without any notice, and Iβm absolutely gutted by the news. I was with FT for over 10 years and built up many wonderful reviews and trusted relationships with students and families over the years. Sadly, all of that has now disappeared overnight.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported and trusted me throughout my tutoring journey β it truly means so much. π
