Most ADIs will agree that when a client goes for a test, with the ADIs support, they drive well and can easily pass the learners test. It's not difficult and the examiner only wants to see safe and courteous driving, and expects the candidate to keep up with the traffic flow within the speed limit -- i.e. not being over cautious driving very slowly.

But it's the nerves that get the candidate. If only we could simulate the actual test nerves in the mock tests. Diane Hall is doing good work on nerves for our clients and for we ADI's for the standards check (SC). The candidate (learner or ADI on SC) needs to be themselves and relax. They can do it, they wouldn't be at the test centre if the couldn't.
