At our summer show, Esperanza, on the weekend of 11th–12th July, we are proud to be supporting the local charity Emily’s Star.

The charity was nominated by our wonderful Maxine and has been chosen in memory of her beloved son Danny Hurlock.

Throughout the show weekend, Emily’s Star will be at the theatre running a raffle to help raise vital funds for their incredible work. We would be grateful if you could buy some tickets and support this fantastic cause.

If you would like to make a donation of a raffle prize please give them directly to Maxine, Sarah or Shirley during class drop off.

Peter was so pleased and proud to see our CentreStage alum, Kiera Espey, performing in the Laine Theatre Arts Summer Show. Kiera, just about to complete her 1st year on the Musical Theatre Diploma course, shone as always in a brilliant show, brimming with talent. This comes just a week after Kiera sang the national anthem on live TV for the King at the 2026 Epsom Derby! We are looking forward to seeing Kiera again when she comes to see our own summer show, Esperanza, next month.
