The Signing Company Baby and Toddler Signing classes with BSL signs. Come along and sign with us.
👏 We are very proud to say that we use signs in our classes and have this stamp of approval. We feel that this makes us unique. We are supporting and protecting the beautiful language of British Sign Language by teaching you the correct and standardised signs used in and around the UK.
All our teachers are BSL Level 1 Signature accredited minimum (a year-long course), with many progressing to level two and beyond.
At The Signing Company, we pride ourselves in using , British Sign Language.
All our teachers are trained to the minimum of Level 1️⃣ in BSL, with the majority of them having gone on to obtain their level 2️⃣ and 3️⃣ certificates.
It is our goal to spread the love ❤️ for BSL and its benefits for everyone, from creating more BSL users for the Deaf community to teaching little ones to support their budding communication skills! 🤩
We use basic BSL signs in our parent/baby activity classes as a starting point, giving many the opportunity to grow their confidence in signing to start a BSL qualification!
If you are a Makaton user, that’s great! 👍 That means you are, in fact, halfway there! Approx 80% of Makaton signs ARE BSL signs as they derive from BSL, so further your signing journey into the world of BSL!

Terri runs Signing Babies and Signing Toddler classes in , and .
Terri says 💬 "Being able to teach basic is an honour. I feel very privileged to be able to teach families this wonderful means of communication. Everyone's reason for choosing us is different, as is everyone’s path and some for their experiences too. The early years are precious, so being able to spend this time with families is very special. Helping families build their little ones' confidence and relieve frustration is great."
Terri's Highlights are:
