On Thursday our Year 2 children went on a trip to Campbell Park. The children were exploring the sculptures, writing about them and sketching them as part of their art unit of work. They were lucky with the weather, and it just about stayed dry until they got back on the coach to return to school! A huge thank you to our wonderful parent helpers who joined us. We would not be able to provide these experiences for our children without your support!

We have had a very exciting week at Holmwood. Nursery had a visit from some firefighters! The children enjoyed learning about how the firefighters help us, and Mrs Gallanders even got to dress up. The most exciting part of the day was the children getting the chance to use the hose to try and knock down some cones.
