Celebrating a beautiful weekend of dance 💫

The last couple of days reminded me why I love competitions. Watching our dancers cheer each other on, helping with hair, practicing backstage, looking after our younger dancers and performing their hearts out was just the best!

So many medals and special awards and we are so proud of these achievements, but we’re equally just as proud of every single dancer who stepped out of their comfort zone and danced on that stage 🌟 you all represented RMAD so well, as always

Well done dancers, teachers and parents… we make a great team 🫶🏻

RMAD students, you make your teachers so proud! 🥲

Our faces say it all in this photo by Carmel Jane Photography 📸 we pour our hearts into every lesson and rehersal and when it all comes together, there’s no feeling quite like it 🫶🏻 grateful every day for my dream team!

What is Lyrical Dance?💫

Lyrical is a beautiful blend of ballet, jazz and contemporary danced to music with lyrics and meaning.

It’s all about telling a story through movement. Soft, flowing, expressive, and full of emotion.

For our younger dancers it’s such a magical class because:

✨ It builds on their ballet technique, but lets them be more free
✨ It teaches them musicality
✨ It grows confidence and expression
✨ It improves musicality, balance, and flexibility in the most graceful way

Our Thursday night class at 5.15-6pm for ages 6-8 years is a beautiful introduction to lyrical dance, contact us to find out more 🤍
