Over fourteen incredible years, we’ve built not just a business, but a community!

Along the way, we’ve been fortunate to share this journey with some remarkable individuals. MOM has always been about people, and we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together.

We are proud to be known internationally for our consultancy work, education programmes and executive coaching.

Over the years, we have supported 24 expert witness cases across three continents, completed 175 extensive reports for our clients, and conducted over 300 tabletop exercises across the world!

Our educational courses have run in 24 countries, and we’ve helped to develop programmes in Switzerland with iSSUE, in Germany with IBIT and in Denmark with Roskilde.

It has been a privilege to work across the globe on such fantastic projects!

This will be our last Thursday Throwback before we close the consultancy to concentrate on new endeavours!

We’d like to go back a few years when we provided leadership coaching for Olympic coaches and medical staff (2016 and 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games). It was brilliant - from kidnappings, to Grand Prix driving and finally a sea survival course at the RNLI Training Centre in Poole.

These immersive, coaching experiences were truly innovative and helped people improve in areas such as decision making, problem solving, communication and teamwork.

Before we begin our new chapter, we’d like to remember some of our favourite moments, and in education there have been some real highs!

We were the first company to deliver Event and Crowd Management programmes to the GAA in Saudi Arabia, whilst simultaneously creating and delivering a Certificate and Diploma in Event and Crowd Management, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership and Management, to event companies across the world.

Special thanks must go to Nancy Skipper for her support through the National Arenas Association, who were our partners in the delivery of this course, with nearly 15,000 students completing these modules.

Now it’s time for the next generation, those who’ve come through our programmes and proven their talent, to take up the baton and continue shaping and revolutionising the industry…

After fourteen incredible years, we’ll be closing the consultancy, and we do so with immense pride, gratitude, and a huge sense of achievement!

Our favourite moments are hard to single out but some highlights include:

• the Pope’s visit to Romania
• the seven years working on the British Grand Prix
• working with the Wembley team and stakeholders on the Steps Project, starting in 2018 and following the story through to the close of the European Champions League Final in 2024
• the sixteen visits to Roskilde Festival
• the wild and wacky projects including creating a pressure suit and the moving of a control room across a festival site!

After many rewarding years, we’ve decided that it's time to focus on new endeavours and so will be closing the consultancy at the end of April this year.

We leave behind us a wealth of knowledge and a set of incredible partnerships that have supported us throughout our fourteen years.
