🍦🍦🍦Year 4 children have been working incredibly hard on their rapid recall of multiplication facts and have now successfully completed their final check. They have shown great grit and resilience throughout, growing in confidence with every step. To celebrate their achievement, they enjoyed a well-deserved ice cream treat — well done, Year 4!
And a big thank you to Lucy from for organising this special treat and helping us distribute the ice creams today! 🧡

🌍 Year 4 have been out litter picking around Whitehouse as part of our Expedition, "What impact can we have on plastic pollution?"
The children were incredibly keen and enthusiastic, showing a real commitment to caring for their environment. Working together in teams, they took great pride in helping to make our community cleaner and greener. ♻️
Next, we'll be analysing the data collected on our iPads and revisiting the hypotheses we made to see if our predictions were correct. 📊
A fantastic example of teamwork, community spirit, and environmental responsibility.

🌟Spotlight on Year 5! 🌟
Last term, Year 5 enjoyed a range of exciting learning experiences. A highlight was their musical performance, where they worked collaboratively to create a wonderful production celebrating our CREW culture.
In Art, the children explored perspective drawing and completed a final city wheel piece using one-point perspective, showcasing their creativity and developing skills.
We also began our new expedition, “Groundbreaking Greeks,” where pupils started to explore life in Ancient Greece. They showed great curiosity and engagement as they began learning about this fascinating period of history.
In English, the children wrote a synopsis of Romeo and Juliet, building their understanding of this classic story.
Well done to all of Year 5 for a fantastic term of learning and teamwork!
