DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM - Learn about the hospitality and tourism industries, customer service, workplace expectations, teamwork, communication and practical skills that can support progression into further study or entry-level roles.

Choose from two free 38-week courses on Mondays - starting on 14 September at the Learning Centre:

• Daytime: 12.30-3pm (HSC0031)
• Evening: 6-8.30pm (HSC0041)

Wellbeing for Pain Management – a FREE 6-week online course starting 1 September (Tuesdays 6-7.30pm). If you experience ongoing problems with pain and/or fatigue, this course is an opportunity to explore things that may help (and those that don’t).

Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration - develop knowledge and skills for business administration, including communication, organising information, workplace procedures, using digital tools, customer care and working effectively as part of a team.

The BTEC Level 1 Customer Service course is a great way to gain the basic skills needed to provide great customer service in a range of settings. On the 12-week course you’ll learn how to communicate with customers, respond to different needs, handle queries, work professionally, understand customer expectations and develop the behaviours needed to provide good service.

The course is FREE and starts on 16 September with sessions on Wednesday 2.45-4.45pm at the Learning Centre.

Develop practical digital skills using computers and common software with the Level 1 Essential Digital Skills course. It’s free and there is a daytime and an evening option for this 12-week course.

• ICT1061 - starts 16 Sep with Wednesday sessions 9.30am to 11.30am at the Learning Centre.
• ICT1071 - starts 17 Sep with Thursday sessions 6pm to 8pm at the Learning Centre.

KIND TO MY MIND is an 8-week free course starting on 3 September. On the course you’ll discuss ideas for demonstrating more self-compassion, including the importance of ‘self-soothing’ and emotion regulation, and the benefits of being kinder to ourselves.
