Rhythm Room Music School

Some of you may remember a wonderful performance of Jamiroquai at our student concert by Aidan. Well it turns out that the Rock School examiner thought he was brilliant too, so please join us in congratulating Aidan for getting a distinction in his Grade 5 Rock School Drum exam! Not an easy feat, it’s taken a lot of practice and work with his teacher, Charlie. Well done Aidan!

We’re here again! Time for another Rhythm Room Student concert at MK11 Music Venue in Milton Keynes, in a few hours the room will be full of nervous students, proud teachers and supportive families, ready to play a mixture of songs they’ve been working on for the last few months. Open to all, doors at 2.45 pm, first set at 3.30 pm.

In addition to teaching, managing Rhythm Room, and telling spectacularly awful jokes at the student concert, our very own Kev also has a thriving career as a professional drummer.

If you’ve ever seen him play, this will come as absolutely no surprise - he’s been nominated for 'Instrumentalist of the Year' at the UK Blues Awards! The only drummer to ever make it to the top 5 in this category.

It’s a public vote, so he would be massively grateful for your support. Voting closes on 1st March, and the winner will be announced at a ceremony at The Stables on 8th April.
