Teaching Our Little Learners About Prophet ʿĪsā (Jesus) عليه السلام

Today in our Abrar Complementary Education class, we taught the children some simple and beautiful facts about Prophet ʿĪsā عليه السلام.
The kids learned in a fun, interactive way — and they loved answering the questions!

Here are the 3 facts we shared with them:

1️⃣ He had no father.
Prophet ʿĪsā عليه السلام was born miraculously to his mother Maryam عليها السلام by the command of Allah.

2️⃣ He was not an ordinary baby.
His birth was a miracle, and even as a baby he was special.

3️⃣ He spoke in the cradle.
By the permission of Allah, baby ʿĪsā عليه السلام spoke to defend his mother and tell the people that he was a servant of Allah.

The children repeated these answers confidently:

“Did he have a dad?” – No!
“Was he an ordinary baby?” – No!
“What did he do as a baby?” – He could talk!

We are proud of how our young learners are growing in knowledge and love for the prophets.
May Allah make this learning a source of blessings for them and their families.

*Prophet Stories*

we have started learning about prophet Isa (pbuh) . As an introduction to the lesson , we learnt about *Maryam (as)*

- How her mother made a special dua for her .
- How babies are carried for almost 10 long months.
- Maryam was dedicated to the masjid of Allaah.
- She grew up there serving the community.
- She was so kind and eager to follow Allaah’s instructions.
- She got special fruits from Allaah.
- Prophet Zakariyyah ( pbuh) was her uncle and guardian in the masjid.
- Serving in the masjid was so high status back then even considered above than kings. .

Prophet Nuh ( PBUH ) - We explored leadership qualities of prophet Nuh and tried to contextualise leadership for our children .

- Everyone is a leader ( individual child )
- ⁠Each leader needs a support system (their 1A class).
- ⁠Every task is a responsibility.

The children are really enjoying learning about the story of Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him)! They listened with excitement as we talked about his patience, faith, and how he built the great ark to save the believers and the animals. 🕊️🐘🐦

They loved hearing about the animals boarding the ark and learned the importance of listening to Allah, being kind, and never giving up hope. 💖

It’s wonderful to see their hearts and minds so engaged in this beautiful story! 🌟
