🔬 Day 1 – Discover Lab (5th Aug):
Dive into chemistry, biology, and physics with loads of hands-on experiments and excitement!

Explore the world of engineering—discover different types and build, create, and test with plenty of interactive activities!

World Ocean Day is a special day that happens every year on June 8th to celebrate the oceans and raise awareness about how important they are! It’s a day to remember that the oceans cover more than 70% of our planet, and they provide so many things we need, like food, oxygen, and even help control the climate.

On this day, people all around the world get together to do things like clean up beaches, protect sea animals, and learn about how we can take care of the ocean. It’s also a time to think about how pollution, like plastic waste, can hurt sea creatures and how we can do better to keep the oceans clean.

So, World Ocean Day is a reminder for everyone to love, protect, and care for our oceans! 🌊🐠

🎓 Join the Mini Professors Team and inspire young minds with science fun after school! 🔬

Are you passionate about working with children and making science exciting and accessible? We're looking for a Class Leader to run our popular Mini Professors after-school clubs, delivering hands-on science sessions in a fun, engaging way!

🧪 What You’ll Do:

Lead after-school science classes for children aged 4-10
Bring each session to life with experiments, storytelling, and enthusiasm
Be a positive role model and create a safe, welcoming environment

🕒 Hours:

Term-time only
Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 5:00pm (flexible depending on school schedules)
More hours available depending on the right candidate

💰 Pay:
£15 per hour

✅ What We Provide:
Full training – no science background required, just passion and confidence
All lesson plans and a full kit of materials

🚗 Requirements:
Confidence speaking in front of groups of children
A fun, engaging personality
Your own reliable transport (essential, as schools vary by location)
An enhanced DBS check (We can arrange this if you don't already have one)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves inspiring children, has some afternoon availability, and wants to do something meaningful (and a bit messy!) in the world of STEM.

For those that love robotics we just thought we would let you know that Lidl are selling build a bot kits for just £11. It’s not the best quality but Matilda is really proud of herself for building her first robot! We got this from the Newport Pagnell Lidl, they had the lion and a cat!
