Pupils enjoyed a fantastic day at 's Prep School Art Festival this week.
This hands-on experience explored the theme Gardens & Landscapes, with pupils creating work inspired by the beautiful surroundings of Stowe.
From drawing and printing to sculpture and collage, experimentation was key, ending the day with an exhibition of their work.
A creative and inspiring experience for our young artists.

Congratulations to Daniel on an outstanding performance at the East Area Prep Schools Athletics Meet, held at Bedford International Stadium on Friday.
Competing against athletes from 53 schools, he delivered an incredible effort securing 3rd place in the 200m and hurdles events.

Ahead of World Oceans Day in June, Year 2 pupils have been thinking carefully about how we can protect our oceans.
After identifying ways we can all help reduce pollution, they put their ideas into action by writing letters to the Prime Minister, sharing their concerns.
A thoughtful and inspiring example of pupils engaging with global issues and sharing their ideas with confidence.

Continuing their work on the Great Fire of London, Year 1 pupils turned their attention to journalism, learning how to structure and write their own newspaper reports about the event.
Developing headlines based on key facts, they worked carefully to organise their ideas and bring the story to life through their writing, developing both their understanding and their confidence along the way.

Our Reception pupils have been bringing The Very Hungry Caterpillar to life in the classroom, using the story as inspiration to explore sentence structure.
With growing confidence, they are learning how to shape their ideas into sentences, building their writing skills step by step.

Year 3 have been hard at work in PE, developing their athletics skills. From hurdles to high jump, throwing and long jump, pupils are showing great enthusiasm as their technique and confidence improve week by week.

Year 1 stepped back in time this week as their learning on the Great Fire of London was brought to life with a visit from Samuel Pepys himself!
Pupils heard what it might have felt like to witness London ablaze, before stepping into the story themselves, imagining how they would help tackle the fire, using hooks to pull down buildings and pumping water to contain the flames.
A great hands-on experience!

Cloudy skies didn’t dampen spirits as our U13 Mixed Golf Team warmed up to host our Golf Tournament today.
There was focus, teamwork and energy on display as the competition got underway!
