WE ARE OPEN!

Following on from the announcement last night, I wanted to make sure that I had all my facts right before sending out any information.

As it stands, nurseries, pre schools and childminders are allowed to stay open for EYFS children (age 0-5, if not at school). Also during this lockdown we are allowed to take on new children.

I am back from maternity leave and currently I have no children coming to me. Therefore, I do have spaces available - mainly part time but I’ll be flexible where I can be.

Please, please, please, do pass my details onto anyone you know who needs childcare.

Thank you x

P.s I’d be ever so grateful if you could please share this for me ❤️

🌟 HAPPY 2021 🌟

Hopefully 2021 will be a much happier year!

Even thought we are in Tier 4, childcare is still allowed to go ahead - for the time being anyway! These things always like to change.

Therefore I do have some part time availability during weekdays for any children under 5 who have not started school yet.

If you or anyone you know needs some childcare then please do let me know. I try to be as flexible as I can, so please don’t hesitate to message me with any questions.

Thank you!

Hello everyone!

I’m back! It’s been awhile since I posted as I’ve been on maternity leave since having my little boy, Max, in April this year. I was planning on coming back to work sooner, however thanks to the pandemic I decided to push my start date back. I can confirm now that I will be back at work in January 2021.

I am going to be returning on a part time basis, due to the pandemic but also due to my little one still being under a year old.

I am able to offer collection from Abbeys primary school in Bletchley and Barleyhurst school/ Barleyhurst pre school.

I also have a few spaces available during the days between 8:30 and 5 (I will try to be flexible on times and dates if required).

If you or anyone you know is in need of childcare then please send my details their way or get in touch directly.

Thank you!

There’s a lot going on in the world at the moment and it’s a scary time for everyone. However the most important thing you can do is stay calm, well that and wash your hands!

As it’s been announced that schools are closing, I’ve seen more and more posts pop up from people who are offering childcare so that parents are still able to go out and work. Whilst this might seem like an absolute godsend, just please be careful and think it through. The majority of these people will NOT be first aid trained, they will NOT have any qualifications and they will NOT have the insurances required to look after children.

As I said, I know that times are scary, but it is also scary allowing a complete stranger with no qualifications, no registrations and no formal training to look after your child. To me that’s much scarier than this virus. Usually we wouldn’t let just anyone look after our kids, so why start now?

Obviously it’s completely down to you as a parent as to how you want to proceed with your child’s care, but I just beg of you to look at all of the information and all of the options available to you first.

Thank you! X

A massive congratulations to one of our absolute favourite groups! Such an amazing achievement to have been going for 15 years, and there’s hopefully another 15 to come?!

I know that I’ll personally keep taking my own kids for as long as I can, as well as spreading the word about this group.

It might sound stupid, but it’s been a lifesaver for me on some occasions! Knowing that it’s a safe space for the kids and just seeing how much they enjoy it, and honestly how much they learn. Logan for one does not stop singing 🙈.

I cannot praise this group enough and I would highly highly HIGHLY recommend going!

So wow how did that happen 15 years of Toddler Time! I never imagined my little music show would still be going 15 years on and that is down to all my Toddler Timers past, present and hopefully future🤞 THANK YOU from the bottom of my ❤️ for all your support. Treats for everyone next week no one else does music the Toddler Time way 🎶

What else do you do on a rainy day? Watch a tow truck, obviously!

When my little boy was a baby, even a few days old, I’d always chat to him about what I was doing and why. Even counting out loud the scoops for his formula 🙈 .

I know he never understood a word I was saying but it just felt like normal saying “I know you’re hungry mate, just gotta put in 2 scoops of formula, then this Button, give the bottle a shake and then it’ll be yours”.

All I can say about it now is that it must’ve done something as he never shuts up 😂 he’s been a chatter box from the word go!

Even now with any child that comes to me, regardless of their age and their understanding, I always find myself explaining what I’m doing and why.

It’s so important to talk to your kids, just about everything and anything. This is how they learn and pick up on familiar sounds which is super important for their development. I know I’ll be doing the same when baby #2 comes along!

Happy Monday everyone!

We will be at Toddler Time Music & Movement this cold Monday morning, as we are most Monday mornings...and Thursday mornings 😂 honestly the kids can’t get enough!

If you’re at a loss as to what to do today then come on down and have a play. Be nice to see some other friendly faces!

Last outing of the year!

Certificate came through the door today confirming I’ve completed my first aid training. 6 hours practical and 6 hours completed online.

I so hope I never have to use it but I’d recommend anyone with kids to do a quick course. It really is worth it!
