⭐️ Following last week’s outstanding Post 16 results, we are delighted to celebrate another year of exceptional GCSE success at Thornton College! 📚
👏🏼 This year’s cohort achieved an excellent set of results across a broad range of subjects, with 25% of all grades awarded at 9-8, 44% of grades awarded at 9-7, 68% at 9-6 and an impressive 95% at 9-4. Students also excelled in additional qualifications, with 57% of Further Mathematics Grades awarded at 9-8 and 100% of HPQ students achieving grades A*-B!

This morning we were delighted to welcome some of our Year 13 students back to Thornton to celebrate their excellent A Level and Post 16 qualification results. Alongside those joining us in person, many of our international students were opening their results overseas, sharing in the excitement around the world! 🌍
📚 Our Sixth Form students achieved outstanding outcomes across A Levels, BTEC and CTEC qualifications, reflecting two years of hard work, determination and resilience. This year, 42% of grades were awarded at A* - A (or equivalent), 68% at A* -B (or equivalent), with an impressive 73% of EPQ grades achieved at A*-A!
🧠From astrophysics to Fine Art, Economics to Nursing and Law to Psychology, our students are progressing to leading Universities including Warwick, Birmingham, The University of Art London and Exeter! 📝
