The best bit of my job is getting to hang out with the most amazing and inspiring people. I show up, because you show up!
If you want to up-level your physical, mental and social well-being, I would love to see you in one of our weekly classes in Milton Keynes.

Mastering the Art of Showing Up:
[an extract from my latest mail out]
âBut real change doesnât happen in giant leaps.
It happens in tiny adaptations.
In gradual resilience.
In quietly becoming the sort of person who keeps turning up.
Mastery isnât exciting most of the time.
Itâs repetitive.
Itâs unremarkable.
Itâs often a little bit tedious.
And then one day you realise youâre capable of things that once felt impossible.
The goal itself almost becomes secondary.
The real reward is who you become in the process.â

No, youâre a Bender Ball.
This is what Iâm gonna call the Pilates Princesses now [meant with nothing but love and affection for the most over hyped, boring, yet quite effective movement practice of the moment*].
*When part of a balanced weekly movement schedule that also includes cardio, strength training and fun.
P.S. Mat based Pilates is better, cheaper and harder than reformer. Pass it on. Tell your friends.

Was driving along with Rich next to me today and my eye was caught by a golden thread running through lush green as I excitedly said âohhhh, thatâs a lush footpathâ âŠand Iâm ok with this level of geek.
This is my Friday night perfection.
Glass of wine and the second edition of
Iâm very certain about what makes me happy these days:
1) My own company
2) Wine
3) Trails
4) The evening on my own with a glass of wine looking at pictures of trails

Moving our body can and should be fun, ESPECIALLY as adults.
Meditation can be about joy and all the good stuff rather than always letting our mind circle round the same negative narrative, ESPECIALLY at times when the world feels a bit much.
Our mini retreat at the weekend was a little gathering of the most wonderful individuals all moving and sharing in their way, but doing it together.
A beautiful morning of yoga, coffee, croissants, journaling, laughing and taking care of ourselves.
The best bit of advice I ever got was to stop taking life so seriously.
The big take away on Saturday for meâŠ
âTake it with a pinch of Charlotteâ đ
Watch this space for our next mini retreat coming in May.

Calling all the mileage makers, burn chasers, human hybrids and all round powerhouses.
So many of us love training for a strong body, healthy mind and the occasional medal. But keeping our engines running well whilst we do this and juggle the demands of busy work and home lives is a skill that we need to understand and develop.
Thatâs where mastering the art of recovery is going to be your new superpower!
Whether youâve got a big event coming up, youâre just starting out on your fitness and strength journey, or simply trying to stay healthy as you move towards your wisdom years, this workshop will help you keep your batteries topped up so you feel great every day and avoid that dreaded burnout.
Drop me a message for the booking link.
Even better, tag or share this with your everyday athlete mates out there who are looking to level up! âĄïžđ„

One for all my athletic women.
(Keep reading even if you donât think thatâs you)
This is one of my favourite photos of me ever taken. That smile is 100% legit joy.
At this time in my life I wasnât training for anything. It wasnât my fastest era, my strongest self, or a time of honing my skills. It was a time in life where I had a good relationship with food and my lifestyle was filled with varied movement.
This photo was taken in Spain after a retreat having stayed back for a few extra days to chill, hike and swim in the Andalusian mountains. It was filled with sunshine, exploring trails, wild swims in rivers, amazing food, cold cervezas and life affirming chats.
I remember being sat at breakfast one morning and somebody describing my body as athletic in build, like this was rare, special and a gift. Everyone agreed
at the time, myself included.
If I was sat in my swimwear today I donât think people would use this word to describe me purely down to the fact that I am not as âleanâ. Right now I have a higher body fat percentage and that is the only real difference. I am still (if not more) muscular. I am equally, if not more, active. Most importantly, my body can still run pretty fu***ng far, lift really heavy things and bend in some pretty spectacular ways. I am still a âhealthy weightâ for my 5ft 9â stature, yet the words used to describe me now would be very different. Today I am more likely to be labeled as big, tall, sturdy, curvy, mid sized, etc.
The actual definition of athletic is someone who is physically strong, fit, active and skilled. Me in my current form is all of these things.
So how about we stop describing our bodies purely on how they appear and start describing our bodies as what they actually do and the roles they fulfil.
So, I am reclaiming my body as athletic, because that is exactly what I am.
I would strongly encourage any other woman reading this who is strong, fit and active to do the same regardless of what you look like.
This is why I refer to every person I work with who is actively showing up and doing these things as an athlete. đ„
