The children have enjoyed the first week of our summer ☀️

We've been welcoming back old faces, enjoyed the local parks, 'fire' play, scented/textured playdough, sewing boards, lego, cars, the garden, water play, sprays, the sand tray, colouring, scissor work, snacks, road safety, patio painting and more! 👨‍🚒🚒🥥🫧🐛🐞🦋🧯🔥🖌🎨🤚💚🚸🚗🛝💦🪡😀🕰🐁🧸🐈‍⬛️👟

Whilst we fully understand it would be very convenient for suncream to last 8 hours this isn’t the case.
We will always re-apply suncream to the children in our care every 2 hours as we feel it’s very important to protect their delicate skin.

Gentle reminder that the invoices are due in full on the 1st of every month.

International Day of Play 🧸

We are a setting that believes strongly in letting children organically learn through play.

This week, our wet days have resulted in a lot of structured activities and outdoor planning being postponed, cancelled or altered.

They have had great fun learning, not only things like colours, numbers, letters etc but fine motor skills, pencil grips, conflict resolution, compromise, role play, opinions, viewpoints, safety, boundaries, imagination and story building.

Its really important that while we give children the best foundation to spring off into life that we also remember these years are precious and short.

They are only children for a little while and play is a very important, solid foundation.

Week one - kitchen removed, all ceilings removed, radiators removed, loft insulation out, electric wiring started on. And I’m sure much more that I haven’t Mentioned.
