Year 6 enjoyed an engaging talk from Bedford Humanists this week, building on their RE learning this half term. The children learned about humanist views and explored how Humanism is a non-religious worldview. They also examined real fossils and considered how evidence can help us understand the world around us.

In Nursery we have thoroughly enjoyed exploring our provision. The children have loved painting with different materials including conkers and pinecones, playing with the colourful bubbles and boats, dressing up as some of our favourite characters, sharing the countries our families come from and grouping objects in maths. It has been wonderful to watch the children begin to understand our rules and routines and apply this to some more hands-on learning.

🎨 Celebrate Our Pupils' Creativity! 🎨

Join us for the KHP Creative Arts Exhibition! Come along to view the incredible Year 11 GCSE artwork, alongside beautiful primary and secondary pieces.
The evening will also feature live musical performances and our annual awards presentation.

✨ Bonus for Year 11 Parents: Pupils will be able to take their GCSE artwork home with them directly at the end of the exhibition!

🎃 Join Friends of Kents Hill Park for some spooktacular pumpkin carving fun! 🍂

📅 Thursday 22 October 2026
📍 Primary site school hall
🕞 Session 1: 3:30–4:30pm
🕓 Session 2: 4:45–5:45pm

🎟️ £6 per pumpkin
available to purchase on SCOPAY.
Included: carving tools to use on the day and a tea light to take home! ✨

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents and carers must accompany their children and stay to supervise throughout the session.
🎃 Siblings can work on one pumpkin together if they want and there’s no need to book a separate pumpkin for each child.

As part of Milton Keynes Tech Week, The Open University are organising a free event for children aged 7–11 and their parents/carers, focused on helping families navigate the opportunities and challenges of growing up online.

The session aims to give children a chance to play, get creative, ask questions and share their own experiences of the digital world. At the same time, parents and other adults will gain a better understanding of the online experiences, opportunities and challenges that children encounter.

The session is designed to be a welcoming, practical and supportive space, rather than a lecture about online risks. We want children to have a voice in the conversation and help families develop greater confidence in talking about online safety together.
