Update from Norway
We absolutely loved today's canoe adventure! πΆ
We paddled 15km to a beautiful island, where we've set up camp for the night. After an incredible dinner cooked by our amazing caterers right on the beach, we're feeling relaxed, well-fed, and ready to take on another 15km on the water tomorrow.
What a way to end the day! π

What an incredible few days our group has had! They took on the thrill of white-water rafting and had an absolutely amazing time.
Over the last four days, they have made Mrs Horton and Miss Humphrey incredibly proud.
Together they have trekked an impressive 42km, conquered three summits, experienced the adventure of wild camping, and reached heights of 760ft above sea level.
Today they're back at base camp to recharge before another exciting adventure β canoeing tomorrow! πΆ

π Culture Day 2026 was an absolute triumph across both primary and secondary schools! π
Yesterday, our school community came alive with color, learning, and unity. It was an incredible celebration that truly highlights what KHP is all about.
Here is a look at how we celebrated:
Inspirational Alumni: Our wonderful Year 11s returned in stunning cultural dress to deliver presentations and answer questions for primary pupils.
Global Workshops: Secondary students took part in interactive sessions, including Henna, African mask making, and Scottish dancing.
World Flavors: Pupils tasted delicious food from many different countries.
Grand Finale: We wrapped up the celebrations with live music and our vibrant Culture Walk.
Every pupil and staff member looked spectacular representing their heritage.
A massive thank you to Miss Disson and her team for organizing such an unforgettable day! πβ¨

Day 2 at camp is officially in the books, and it was a massive win for the team! ποΈπͺ
We kicked off our first full day by tackling a 6-day menu planning and massive food shop. Total team effort hereβeveryone collaborated beautifully to make sure every single dietary need was covered. ππ₯
The real test came this afternoon during our 6km familiarisation trek. Between the intense heat and some seriously challenging terrain, we had our work cut out for us as we climbed up to 350m. But guess what? Every single member of the team crushed it and crossed the finish line together! ποΈβοΈπ₯
Now, we are taking a well-deserved evening to relax, recharge, and swap stories. We need all the energy we can get because tomorrow we hit the rapids for our white water rafting adventure! ππ£ββοΈ
The children are having an incredible time and will tell you all about their amazing adventures firsthand when they return! π«π±β¨
