Fabulous last week of term in Early Years. We enjoyed spending time with the year 6 children before they left. Enjoy the summer holidays and we’ll look forward to seeing you in September.

Who can believe it’s the last day of the academic year tomorrow.

Nursery are in the process of creating a birthday party role play for September. If anyone has any spare party decorations, invitations, cards etc, we would really appreciate them. Thank you in advance. 🎉

We had fun creating jellyfish biscuits today in Early Years. The children worked together and took turns beautifully. They were also very careful using the kitchen scissors. 🪼We hope they enjoyed eating them at home. 🥰

*Year 2’s India day!*

Year 2 had a fantastic day to finish their topic about India. We painted Diyas, learnt an Indian dance, designed some Henna and were lucky enough for Mrs Fernando and Mrs Nahar to draw henna on us! We finished our day with trying Indian food, looking at the spices and becoming very competitive in the tradition Kho Kho Indian game.

Year 1 & 2 took a train from Bletchley station to Wolverton. They all had their own tickets and were super stars when it came to listening! We walked over to the secret garden, where they explored the plants and wildlife. We made wild bracelets and our very own bog babies. What a fantastic trip to end a wonderful year with these classes. 🥰

Another free summer holiday event.

Free Family Fun Day event for families on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd August, being run by MK Melting Pot in partnership with CNWL and is an event to bring people in the community together to connect and access activities over the two days.

We had fun today creating pirate ships using apples and cheese. The children created some great pirate flags and again showed safe cutting skills. 🏴‍☠️

Reminder it’s wear a Euro’s shirt today or the colours of your favourite team! ⚽️🥅

We’ve listened to the story ‘Oliver’s fruit salad’ today and then the children made their own fruit salad for snack. We discussed the fruit we had chosen for our fruit salad (apple, mango, strawberry, melon, satsuma’s) and the children demonstrated safe cutting skills.
It was delicious and we were very impressed that all the children tried the fruit even if they didn’t think they liked them. 🍓🍎🥭🍉
