We are proud to share that our Chief Executive and Group Principal, Sally Alexander, has been awarded an MBE in the King’s Birthday Honours List for services to Further Education.
Sally has dedicated more than 20 years to transforming lives through education. From her national leadership in prison education to leading Milton Keynes College Group today, her focus has always been clear, widening opportunity and making a meaningful difference to the communities we serve.
Under Sally’s leadership, the College Group has grown in both scale and impact, expanding opportunities for learners, strengthening employer partnerships and supporting individuals to progress into positive futures.
Sally said:
“Further Education is nothing if it isn’t at the heart of our communities. It has the power to change lives, create opportunity and bring people together.”
This is a moment of real pride for our College Group and reflects the work of colleagues, partners and learners across all that we do.
Congratulations, Sally.

That's a wrap on GCSE exams for 2026! 🎉
A huge well done to all our students who have worked incredibly hard throughout the exam season. Your dedication, resilience and determination have been inspiring to see, and you should be proud of everything you've achieved.
It's been fantastic to see such a positive atmosphere across our campuses during the exam period, with students supporting one another and staff helping them every step of the way.
A big thank you also goes to our hardworking Exams Team, alongside colleagues across the College, whose efforts behind the scenes have helped ensure every exam day ran as smoothly as possible.
While GCSE exams may be finished, many of our students still have assessments and exams taking place over the coming weeks. We wish them the very best of luck and look forward to celebrating their achievements later this year.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Breast Health Information drop in sessions last month, hosted by the Breast Department at Milton Keynes University Hospital across our campuses 💗
These drop-in sessions gave staff and students the opportunity to learn more about breast health, early detection, signs and symptoms, and the importance of screening in a supportive and welcoming environment.
A special thank you to our Women’s Network Officers for organising and supporting these valuable sessions, helping to encourage open conversations and raise awareness across our community.

Last week, our Public Services staff and students hosted a charity event in support of The Fire Fighters Charity to remember the two firefighters who lost their lives and the two others injured at the Bicester Motion Fire last year. ❤️
As part of the event, they ran out 19 miles of fire hose, which was the distance from Bletchley to Bicester Fire Station, held a bake sale and organised a raffle.
We were also incredibly grateful for the support from West Ashland Fire Station, who joined us with a fire engine and crew on the day.
Thank you to everyone who came along, showed their support, and helped us raise money for such an important cause.
