Accessible Parks in Bletchley
Last week, we shared a list of accessible parks that we knew about. Since then, many of our followers have recommended additional parks in the comments, helping us expand the list. Thank you for sharing your recommendations.
We are still in the process of identifying and checking more accessible parks across Milton Keynes, but for now, here are some accessible parks in Bletchley.

Here you'll find a wheelchair-accessible roundabout and a wheelchair-accessible trampoline. "You and Me" swing, designed to allow children and carers, friends or siblings to enjoy the equipment together.

The park is located adjacent to Bletchley Park and is themed to celebrate the Codebreakers (hence the name โFlowersโ after Tommy Flowers, engineer and computer pioneer who played a key role in developing the Colossus computer during World War II).

Good morning everyone
An important letter has been uploaded onto Tapestry. Your childโs end of year report has also been published for you to read and your childโs learning journey is also ready for you to download.
Staff have put in a lot of time, effort and love into making these documents for you and your child and they are a wonderful record of your childโs first experience of education. There also provide a key insight into your childโs learning and learning style for their primary school.
If you need any help, please speak to Emma.

Another very hot day to come today. Please make sure your child comes to nursery prepared for the heat. Individual water bottles are accepted in nursery today to ensure children remain hydrated.
We will try to keep the children as cool as possible.
Thank you for keeping in touch with us if youโve decided to keep your child at home.
Stay safe everyone and remember to drink more than you normally would due to the heat.

As you know we are in a RED weather warning currently and the Met Office has extended an Amber weather warning for Friday and into the weekend.
We have tried our best to keep the learning environments as cool as possible and the children as hydrated as possible, we have tried to hire aircon units but non are available. We are following all DfE guidance.
Our indoor learning spaces has reached nearly 31 degrees.
Some children have managed very well and taken it in their stride, others have struggled.
We are currently planning on remaining open as we know some of you must go to work or have things on.
However, you know your child best. You know how well they have slept, how they cope in the heat and if they are showing any signs of heat exhaustion. Therefore, if you should decide to keep your child at home due to the extreme heat, absences will be authorised as an exception circumstances.
Please let us know if you decide to keep your child off.
Many thanks

It is getting very hot and humid. We have closed all access to outside and are trying our best to keep the children hydrated and as cool as possible. It is set to get hotter as the afternoon goes on.
Parents are welcome to collect their child anytime from now. If you are collecting earlier, please come to the main reception door.
Many thanks

We are not having group time today. Children will come in to nursery via the door where the sand and water are (yellow groupโs room)

We have entered into a rare Red weather warning for extreme heat.
We will be open as normal and will try our best to keep your children hydrated and as cool as we can.
We are very understanding if you would prefer to keep your child at home or collect them earlier.
Please let us know if you will be doing this and stay safe in the heat.
