This weeks storey of the week was ‘Owl Babies’ 🦉

Friday fun 🤩

Today we did a simple tuff tray using cotton wool, coloured water, rosemary (from our garden) and lots of different utensils.

Such a simple idea but creates lots of learning opportunities for the children, for example ….

* Communication skills - talking to their friends about what they are doing

* sensory seeking with the different textures and materials

* Supporting their fine motor skills with using spray bottles and syringes

And that is just some of the many benefits of learning through play💜
