At TMA this week!
A much drier and warmer week at TMA began with an epic Sports Day on Monday! It was a fantastic event, with children and parents all taking part and cheering each other on. (See the photos on the website)Staying with PE, weβve also enjoyed more cricket this week, with our friends from Dynamo Cricket coming in to work with the children. Meanwhile, lunchtime Tug of War trials have been taking place on the field as we assemble our strongest team. Rope + determination + grass stains = serious business πͺ
The TMA Garden is beginning to reward all the hard work put into it, with fruit and vegetables now appearing, including radishes, strawberries and raspberries.
Year 6 had a brilliant visit to Silverstone this week, where they explored the museum and learned all about the history of motor sport. They are also busy preparing for their upcoming production of 'Oh What a Knight', with the cast enjoying their first read-through of the script.
In the Nest this week, the children created their very own teapots out of clay, while across the school there has been plenty of exciting outdoor learning taking place. From recording podcasts in Year 3 to investigating how sound travels in Year 4, classrooms have been spilling out into the sunshine.
We also welcomed our upcoming Year 2 children this week, giving them a chance to experience life at TMA and meet some of the staff. They produced some excellent paintings during their visit!
Have a great weekend!

Music Tech Club's original song, Laid Back, is finally here!
Written completely from scratch over 7 weeks, our talented young musicians have worked incredibly hard to create, record and perform their very own track.
A huge well done to all the children involved for their creativity, teamwork and dedication throughout the project.
Take a listen and enjoy Laid Back!
