Ready to go on this sunny morning! ☀️✍️
Often, worded problems can be complicated and confusing for children which causes panic and skipping questions…
Below shows a diagram which one student drew to work out the mass of each shape, using previous given information 😊🧐👏🏻

Revising past papers can be tedious… so why not cut up the questions and roll dice to help choose which to answer?! 🎲✍️✨
So proud of my hardworking bees 🐝
One of my students specifically asked to learn about this story in our Guided Reading lesson this week…so that’s what we’re going to do! 😊🐰📖
The beauty of tutoring children 1:1 is how lessons can be tailored to each individual student! 👍🏻

We’ve been busy exploring Angles this weekend - using a fun Alien game to make it fun! 👾 👍🏻
✨We first revisited the different types of angles and used that to compare them.
✨We then used a protractor to draw and measure in degrees 🧐✏️
My busy bees have been working through maths assessment papers this week! 📝 🐝
Working 1:1 with my students, I can clearly see the methods and strategies adopted to answer each question 🧐 ( and of course, encourage children to read the questions carefully!)
As always, I’m a very proud tutor this week! 😊🌟
A great Saturday spent with my hardworking, busy bees 🐝🌟👩🏻🏫
Most lessons today were spent working through both arithmetic and reasoning practice assessment papers 📝🧐
