Two Mile Ash Pre-school

Our baby chicks are halfway cooked—well, incubated!
Gemmas checked all the eggs with a torch, and 4 out of 6 have lively little chicks dancing around inside. You can even spot a tiny heartbeat if you look closely.

When hatching day gets close, the eggs will return to preschool so the children can (fingers crossed!) see them break out of their shells.
We have everything crossed that they don’t hatch during half‑term.

Yesterday we went on our yearly trip to Warwick Castle! 🏰

We love giving the children opportunities to experience places they may not have visited before, as well as enjoying the excitement of travelling together on a coach—all while keeping costs as low as possible for our families.

It was also so lovely to spend time with our parents and bring both of our settings together—over 60 people attended, making it a really special day for everyone.

The children had a wonderful time exploring the grounds, learning new language such as knight, turret, moat, ruins, and tower. Some even had the chance to visit a princess in her castle! 👑

We also enjoyed an amazing falcon show, where the children learned about different types of birds and watched them in action.
A fantastic day full of learning, adventure, and smiles all around!

Huge thankyou to Little Red Trolley Entertainments.
Easter Bunny came and made all our children extremely happy.

We are incredibly proud to share that Thea has achieved her Level 3 Diploma in Early Years — with a Distinction. 🌟

Thea began her journey with us as an apprentice at Two Mile Ash Preschool, and when we opened Rugrats Preschool in 2024, she transferred over and continued to shine.

Through hard work, dedication, and a genuine passion for early years, Thea has grown from strength to strength. She is now our Third in Charge and an absolutely amazing credit to both settings.

Her confidence has flourished, her practice is outstanding, and the children adore her. We couldn’t be prouder of everything she has achieved.

Well done, Thea — you truly deserve this! 💛👏

Yesterday, as part of our INSET training days, every member of staff successfully completed and passed their Paediatric First Aid course. We’re incredibly proud of their hard work and commitment to keeping our children safe.

Our whole team is now fully qualified to care for your little ones, with up‑to‑date training in:
• CPR
• Choking
• Diabetic emergencies
• Broken bones
• Head injuries
• Bumps, bruises and grazes
• And so much more
