🍕 Year 1 had a fantastic day with the Romanellis! 🍕
Our Year 1 children had an amazing visit from the Romanelli's Italian food , who showed us how to make delicious pizzas from scratch.
The children had lots of fun tasting the fresh ingredients, learning how pizzas are made, and creating their very own pizzas. They then watched them being cooked in the traditional pizza oven inside the Romanellis' pizza van!
A huge thank you to the Romanellis for giving our children such a fun, hands-on, and very tasty learning experience. It was a fantastic lesson that everyone thoroughly enjoyed! 🍕😊

💙 **What an emotional Year 6 Leavers' Mass.** 💙
Today we gathered with **Fr Francis, our Year 6 families, and staff** to celebrate a truly beautiful and heartfelt Mass. We don't think there was a dry eye in the church as we gave thanks to God for the wonderful journey our children have shared at St Bernadette's.
It was a special opportunity to reflect on the friendships made, the memories created, and the many achievements of our amazing Year 6 pupils. As they prepare to begin an exciting new chapter at their secondary schools, we send them with our love, prayers, and every blessing for the future.
To our Year 6 children – we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Thank you for the joy, kindness, laughter, and enthusiasm you have brought to our school. You will always be a cherished part of the St Bernadette's family.
We wish you every success and happiness in the years ahead, and we look forward to hearing about all the amazing things you will achieve. Remember, our doors will always be open, and you will always be welcome back.
✨ Once a St Bernadette's pupil, always a part of the St Bernadette's family. God bless you all. 💙

🏅☀️ **What a wonderful Sports Day!** ☀️🏅
The sun was shining, the weather was perfect, and everyone had a fantastic day taking part in a wide range of sporting events.
Our children showed incredible enthusiasm, determination, and team spirit as they competed in **running races, relay races, shot put, long jump, triple jump**, and so much more!
Of course, one of the highlights of the day was the **teachers' race**—a huge well done to **Mr Waghorne** for taking the win! 👏🏃♂️
Most importantly, a massive **well done to every single one of our children**. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves for your effort, sportsmanship, and encouragement of one another throughout the day.
A big thank you to all of our staff, volunteers, and families who helped make the day such a memorable success. What a fantastic way to celebrate sport together! 🌟💙

🎉 **What a fantastic Summer Festival we had!** ☀️🎈
A huge **thank you** to everyone who came along and made the day such a wonderful success. We had so much fun with **Hook a Duck, Crazy Golf, bouncy castles, jacket potatoes, ice pops, fizzy drinks, penalty shoot-outs, face painting, and so many other games and activities**. There were smiles, laughter, and happy memories everywhere you looked!
We were also incredibly honoured to welcome the **Mayor of Milton Keynes**, who officially opened our Summer Festival.
Thanks to the amazing support of our families, friends, staff, volunteers, and local community, we are delighted to share that we have raised **over £2,000**! Every penny will help provide exciting opportunities and resources for all of our children.
A special thank you goes to our incredible **PTA**. With only a handful of dedicated volunteers, they work tirelessly throughout the year to organise events like this and raise vital funds for our school. We simply couldn't do it without them.
If you have a little spare time and would like to make a real difference, we'd love for you to join our PTA. Every extra pair of hands helps, and together we can continue creating wonderful events and opportunities for all of our children.
💙 **Thank you once again to everyone who supported our Summer Festival – what an amazing community we have!**

✨ Wow – just look at this amazing work! ✨
Take a look at the beautiful jewellery our talented children have created in Mrs Saunders' Jewellery Club. The pieces are so well made, they look good enough to be sold! 💎👏
We are incredibly lucky to offer such a wide range of after-school enrichment clubs, all run by our wonderful and dedicated teachers. From Art Club, Film Club, Science Club, Maths Club, Recorder Club, Choir, Writing Club, Phonics Club, Football, Athletics and so much more, there is something for everyone.
Please look out for the new clubs that will be coming out in September for your child to sign up on SchoolGateway. If you need to speak to a member of staff regarding clubs, Miss Connelly is in the office to help.
These clubs give our children the opportunity to discover new interests, develop their talents and build confidence while having lots of fun. A huge thank you to all our staff for giving up their time to provide these fantastic opportunities for our pupils. We are so grateful! 💙💛
