Great to see our incredible Year 11s so well-prepared for today’s first English Literature exam.

Yesterday, a number of our year 9s enjoyed a great trip to Waddesdon Manor, looking at careers in leisure and tourism. They investigated what makes venues successful and how to improve them. Many thanks to all the team at Waddesdon Manor for a very interesting and educational day!

After school on Friday 6th March, three year 11 students represented Lift Sir Herbert Leon at St Paul’s Catholic School where 14 schools met for this year’s Milton Keynes School Debate.

World Book Day was celebrated yesterday when staff and students dressed up as their favourite book chararcter. Everyone really enjoyed this colourful and fun day!

A big ‘Thank You’ to everyone that was involved with the orchard planting last weekend – what a great turn out! Volunteers planted 24 trees including cherry, apple, plum and pear! Please see today's February newsletter for more information, photos and a video link.

Please come and join the Friends of the SHL Kitchen Garden again this Saturday as we prepare the growing beds ready for planting, rabbit guard the trees, map the orchard and shift some soil into the polytunnel. Please meet at the kitchen garden entrance off Fern Grove at 10.30am.
