One of the UK’s major model railway exhibitions, featuring 30+ model railway layouts, 50+ trade stands, modelling demonstrations and displays. A free shuttle bus is also scheduled between the railway station and venue.

🏊 Big Open Weekend

Location: Bletchley Leisure Centre, Princes Way, MK2 2HQ

A big free community weekend with gym sessions, PT tasters, table tennis lessons, swimming, family fun sessions, children’s crafts, play activities and more. Some activities need to be booked. Saturday also features a 100K Your Way fundraiser for Sport in Mind.

📸 Blue Lagoon Photography Walk

A guided photography walk through the Blue Lagoon Local Nature Reserve, part of the free Trails, Tales & Lanterns programme celebrating the area’s nature, wildlife and improved walking and cycling routes.

Free drop-in Lego and Duplo session for children and families. Bricks are provided and there’s no need to book.

🎶 Milton Keynes Museum Organ Festival

Location: Milton Keynes Museum, McConnell Drive, Wolverton, MK12 5EL

Entry: Standard museum admission. Under-5s free.

A brilliantly quirky one. The museum comes alive with historic mechanical and fairground organs, ranging from tiny music boxes to huge traditional fairground machines. Visitors can also meet some of the makers and restorers. Runs Saturday AND Sunday.

Campbell Park is transformed into a Bavarian-style Oktoberfest with a huge Bier tent, steins, live entertainment and traditional Oktoberfest atmosphere.

If you’re looking for something active to do, Bletchley Leisure Centre AND Woughton Leisure Centre are both holding Big Open Weekends on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October with loads of FREE activities, taster sessions and family fun.

You do not need to be a member to take part, and some activities can be booked in advance.

Our Gardening Club have been busy in the allotment, working incredibly hard to clear and tidy different areas. They were excited to discover some tiny pumpkins hidden amongst the plants, and our compost bin is now very full! They also picked a pear from the allotment to take home. 🍐🍐🍐🍐🍐
