The Milton Keynes Academy

Meet the Tutor event for parents and carers of all students in Year 7 - 10 on Monday 12th September from 4pm - 7pm. This is the perfect opportunity for you to meet your child’s Form Tutor

We join the nation in mourning Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her years of service and duty to the country are an example to us all and her loss will be greatly felt.

National guidance is that schools will remain open during a period of mourning. This period of national mourning will continue until the end of the State Funeral. When schools are issued guidance regarding any arrangements for the day of the State Funeral, these will be shared with parents and carers.

In the meantime, we will ensure there is appropriate opportunity for students to discuss and ask questions about the Queen's life and reign. We will also make available support for any student for whom this significant national event causes sadness.

Today we held our first Creative Education Trust STEM Prize - a day of competitive maths, science and rocket building at the National Space Centre. We are thrilled to announce the following results:

🌟 In third place, winning both the science quiz and rocket challenge, Caister Academy - putting the Great in !

🌟Coming in second place, and winners of our Spirit of STEM award for their consistent results, was Thistley Hough Academy

🌟Finally, after running away with the maths quiz, we are delighted to announce that the first ever Creative Education Trust STEM Prize winners are Milton Keynes Academy. An amazing achievement for a team of three - congratulations!! 🎉

An amazing celebration for Diversity Day at Milton Keynes Academy. It was full of positive vibes. It was an amazing day of vibrant colours and culture. Thank you to everyone at MKA!

Our year 7 students were involved in a workshop run by . The workshop involved students learning tricks and meeting a former world BMX champion. Thank you Mike for this amazing opportunity.
