Year 2 have been learning about the suitability of everyday materials for particular uses. Yesterday we conducted an experiment to identify the best material to absorb water. We found out that the kitchen roll and cloth had soaked up the most water after 15 minutes, compared to the foil and plastic bag which didn't absorb any of the water.
