A huge thank you to the wonderful families of class 3S for supporting Miss Sawyer’s end-of-term wish.

Rather than receiving individual gifts, Miss Sawyer asked if families would instead come together to make a donation to her chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.

Thanks to the generosity of our parents and carers, we’ve been able to make a joint donation in recognition of everything Miss Sawyer has done for the class this year. A fantastic way to celebrate a brilliant teacher while supporting such an important cause. 💙

The weather looks to be slightly cooler this weekend, so why not get outside and enjoy Milton Keynes junior parkrun?

We are a proud parkrun primary, and we love seeing our pupils take part!

Mrs Hamer will be volunteering as usual this Sunday, and this week will be delivering the First Timers' briefing, so there'll be a friendly face if you haven't been before.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Summer has arrived, bringing brighter mornings and warmer junior parkruns ☀️

To help everyone have a safe and enjoyable event, we've rounded up five useful tips for those sunny days ahead ✋ parkrun.me/h730x

Well done to all of our pupils who took part in last week's instrumental concert!

It was a wonderful celebration of music at Monkston and featured pupils who have only recently started their musical journey and those who are already accomplished musicians.

Thank you to our instrumental teachers Helen, Amanda, Joseph and Paul from Milton Keynes Music Co-operative for all your hard work and for helping out on the concert.

Due to the red weather warning in our area, and the difficulty in making our classrooms cool with 30 children and staff in, we have decided to offer parents the option of picking up early both on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

Playground gates will be open between 11.55 - 12.05pm and the school will remain open for children who are not going home early. If children usually walk home, they can only leave if collected by an adult or parents have emailed the office specifically about permission to walk over the next two days.
