Of all the grand traditions of Theatre, panto may be the one that gets the most stick. But we're not afraid to be sticky, and we embrace the joy of panto, the bad jokes, the thrill of the Good guys trouncing the Bad guys every time, the rotten jokes, the old routines, the awful jokes, the new routines, the (insert topical joke here)s, and the terrible jokes.
Whether you're looking for an old favourite, or a fresh take on a familiar tale, or a wholly original concept in the panto style, TLC Creative has a script for you. Read 'em all, all the way through (if you dare!), right here:

Some theatre is grand and sweeping, covering ages, or great empires. And some, like "At the Bus Stop" are just a few minutes out of someone's day.

When one third of the writing partnership moves to Canada, it can be challenging. But long before Covid forced the world onto Zoom, TLC Creative were using video conferencing to decide who was writing which part of the next panto, or who should take the blame for the terrible puns in the latest sketch.
It's not always an easy way to work, but it has proven successful in completing dozens of scripts that have gone on to win awards for performing companies around the world.

There's a little bit of uncertainty in the air in the UK, from what I can tell. Speculating about the future is a dodgy business, but what if you could find out for certain? This short comic play presents the first man to travel into the future and what he finds there. It's not what he expected, and the return journey has some unique problems....

People love beginnings. TLC Creative began with a pantomime we wrote together. It wasn't easy, but it WAS a lot of fun, to write and to perform. Since then, we've gone on to write more pantomimes, both traditional and original. One of the most popular is Jack and the Beanstalk. You can read it here:

And the Dame in the picture is none other than David Lovesy of TLC Creative himself, the Winner of Milton Keynes' Dame Academy!

This is one of our many, many comedy sketches, and you can read the whole thing here:

Facebook is boosting yesterday's post, so if you're seeing this one, you're a true fan of the page and should be given a medal. Alas, as the Rolling Stones said "She spent all my money, playing her high class game..."
No, hang on, I meant "You can't always get what you want."
Which is one of the themes in the remarkable three-play set that makes up "For Sale: Baby Shoes, Never Worn".
