Our Class 4 children visited Milton Keynes Preparatory School for a dinosaur-themed topic morning. They had a special visit from Teaching Talons, where they had the opportunity to handle some fossils, along with meeting a number of modern-day insects and animals that may be related to the giant reptiles.

Today is World Book Day, and our children were asked to invite Grandparents or special people to join them for their activities. We were so lucky to be able to enjoy the morning in the garden, reading and crafting together in the glorious spring sunshine!

Please be aware that there will be no Jumping Jacks stay & play session tomorrow, 5th March. We will be back as normal from next week, 12th March.

We're back! From THURSDAY 29th JANUARY, you'll be very welcome to bring your 0-4 year old to our FREE Jumping Jacks stay & play sessions between 10:00am and 11:30am each Thursday during term times. Refreshments available, and no need to book

Class 3 are currently learning about 'our body', and in support of this we had a visit from one of our parents, Dr Savdas. She showed us how to listen to our hearts with a stethoscope and how to take a temperature. We talked about how to keep ourselves healthy, and how doctors help us when we are poorly.

Today we celebrated 25 wonderful years of Walton Nursery. Parents joined us for tea and birthday cake, while the children performed a selection of songs they have been practising. We were honoured to welcome the Mayor, who celebrated alongside us and judged our Silver Winter-themed Art Competition.

We were also joined by our Chair of Governors and the Headmaster of Milton Keynes Preparatory School. During the rest of the day the children in the Nursery enjoyed more creative silver-themed activities. Thank you to all who have sent us Happy Birthday Wishes!

This week we have invited parents and grandparents to join us for a morning of Christmas crafting. We've had so much fun, and made some lovely decorations!
