To celebrate the wonderful women in our lives, Farm Day Nurseries had a celebration of afternoon tea, craft activities and story telling across all of our sites last week. It was lovely to see everyone and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

📗 World Book Day 2024📗
Our sites had the best time celebrating World Book Day 2024. Children were able to dress up as their favourite story characters as well as being able to listen to our wonderful team telling them all sorts of stories!

Children's Mental Health Week 2024

Our Adventure Valley preschoolers have started practising their Chinese Yoga which provides healing benefits for the mind, body and spirit. Yoga is excellent for helping to boost children's self esteem as well as strength and flexibility.
Our beautiful woodland surrounding our nursery is the perfect setting for children to feel relaxed, calm and comfortable.

📗📗 National Story Telling Week 📗📗

Last week, our nurseries had the best time with the children celebrating National Storytelling Week. Our children's favourite stories included We're going on a Bear Hunt, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Snail and the Whale. It was a great opportunity for parents to come in and tell their favourite story to their child too.

🍀Parent Mental Health Day 2024 🍀

At Adventure Farm Day Nursery & preschool, our team commemorated Parent Mental Health Day by providing breakfast for parents and carers doing the morning drop off. With a selection of sausage sandwiches, pastries and yummy vegetarian alternatives courtesy of our fabulous on site chef Carla, no one left hungry! Our children also helped to make some pocket hug crafty keepsakes showcasing our appreciation for their wonderful parents.

Across our Farm Day Nurseries, we believe in learning through play and creating happy, self-confident children ready for school. At Godstone Farm Day Nursery, children have been thoroughly enjoying our Planning in the Moment teaching approach which allows our team to turn any play experience chosen by the children into an opportunity to learn and develop. From painting, to leaf printing to visiting the animals, we ensure that every day is a fantastic learning experience.

🍀🍀 Wellbeing Wednesday 🍀🍀

At Farm Day Nurseries, we greatly value our children's wellbeing. A mini spa and relaxation day for our preschoolers at Adventure Valley Day Nursery proved popular! Face masks, cooling cucumber eye patches and foot massages were gratefully received.

At Rand Farm Park Day Nursery & preschool, the weather may be colder but that doesn't stop our children enjoying their daily farm visits. Being based within a farm environment allows our children to benefit from hands on animal experiences with guinea pigs and sheep alike.
