**APP System Upgrade – Important Information**

We would like to inform you about an upcoming upgrade to the Kumon App taking place in April. This is the first update since the system launched that will directly affect daily study.

**Upgrade Window:**
**Saturday 18th April, 16:00 – Monday 20th April, 16:00**

Please note that **any work completed during this time will not be recorded**, and we will be unable to view or mark it.

**What we recommend during this period:**

* **Saturday 18th:** Please complete the day’s work **before 4pm**.
* **Sunday 19th:** **No work** should be completed.
* **Monday 20th:** Please complete the day’s work **after 4pm**.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but this upgrade is outside of our control. If you would like support with study on Sunday 19th—such as a paper worksheet for that day—please let us know before your class that week so we can prepare it for you.

*Some students may choose to “double up” on one day to compensate for the no‑study Sunday. We recommend this approach as it helps maintain a clear and consistent study record.*

If you have any questions, please feel free to speak with us at your next class. A reminder will be sent closer to the date.

Office Co-ordinator cm Receptionist - Kumon
Milton Keynes Central Branch, Monkston Park
15 hours per week - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 13:30pm – 18:30pm

We are currently looking for a Receptionist to manage the reception desk and support the Centre Instructor in all aspects of delivering the Kumon Maths and English Programmes at the Kumon Milton Keynes Central Study Centre.
Kumon develops every child’s potential, offering Maths and English study programmes to more than four million students worldwide.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

•Providing a professional reception service for the centre
•Welcoming parents and students, managing enquiries and taking messages
•Communicating with Kumon parents regarding issues such as absences, discontinuance, and payments
•Handing out students’ folders and recording their daily Kumon work on computer.
•Sending students test results and progress update to parents
•Preparing Social media posts for the Centre
• Completing monthly reports of student’s progress

Key skills and experience required for this role are:

• Computer literate with good understanding of Word, Excel and Google docs ( essential)
• Excellent telephone manner
• Team player, but ability to work on own initiative
• Ability to work on multiple tasks
• Good communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and manage own workload amid conflicting demands and busy work periods
• Professional manner, Enthusiasm and Positive attitude
• Flexible approach to working hours
• Positive and caring interest in children and their capabilities
• Must have Grade B in Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent)
