HELP NEEDED?!?!?

We have been discussing potty training in some of our classes over the last few weeks which took me back to when we were potty training.

It got me thinking (dangerous I know) how helpful books were for us during this phase.

There are sooo many good books so I thought it would be nice for all us grown ups out there to share which books we found helpful.

Post in the comments below any book recommendations you have for potty training, I’m sure there’s plenty of us that will appreciate it 🫶🏻💩💦

Beginning initially as a national Baby Loss Awareness Day in 2002, Baby Loss Awareness Week has taken place every October in the UK since then. The week is a collaboration between a number of bereavement charities and aims to offer support, solidarity and comfort to everyone whose lives have been touched by the impact of pregnancy and baby loss.

As well as being a time to remember and reflect, many of the baby loss community also use the week to fundraise to support our work.

As the weather changes, all those little bugs come out to play….

..and not the cute little bugs you see here! 🐛🐞🐌

With so many colds and virus’ going around currently, we want to reassure you that our strict cleaning procedures are in place as always, ensuring the props and equipment used in class are safe for you and your little ones.
Equipment is sanitised between classes and puppets and fabrics are regularly washed. Covid times taught us a lot and we are very good at cleaning!

To help limit the spread of nasty colds, if your little one is poorly, please stay at home and get better. We understand it’s sad to miss Hartbeeps but you are very welcome to gift your space to a friend or we can offer you a catch up class within the same term, subject to availability.

With classes returning, I just wanted to write this post ❤️

All too often on social media, (including our own pages), all we see is cute, happy, smiley babies. This is lovely to see but we all know that the reality of having a baby is definitely not like this all the time.

So, we want to tell you, babies do cry in class! Also can we add Toddlers sometimes do too! It’s how they tell us when they are feeling overwhelmed or hungry, unsure, and guess what? It is normal and it is OK!

Will your baby cry if they come to Hartbeeps? The honest answer is, probably yes at some point and that’s OK. ❤️ Will your toddler cry or tantrum probably yes too… ❤️❤️

Please never feel you can’t come to Hartbeeps because your child might cry. Here at Hartbeeps we promise to always support and welcome you and to do our upmost to create an inclusive environment for all, to create a community and support each other! So whether it’s a baby crying or it’s a toddler tantrum there is no judgment here! Remember, our classes are completely baby led and we will support you in looking out for babies cues if they are becoming overwhelmed. And for our toddlers we will always have a quiet spot and we will work with you to support you and toddler.

The fact you have made it out the house and to a class is an achievement for any parent so, well done! 💛
