As we shared previously, our incredible staff team played a significant role in helping us achieve the prestigious School of the Year award at the Milton Keynes Education Awards.

In addition, our PE department continues to demonstrate outstanding enthusiasm, passion, and dedication in all that they do.

Their commitment to inspiring and supporting our pupils was recognised through Miss Jones receiving the Sports Award – a fantastic and well-deserved achievement.

We are immensely proud of every member of our PE team. Their hard work, care, and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional opportunities for our students have been instrumental in making achievements like this possible.

Congratulations to Miss Jones and the entire PE department on this wonderful recognition! πŸ†πŸ’™πŸ‘

Year 2 children took part in the Primary Music Festival at the Ridgeway Community Centre in Wolverton. Everyone sang their hearts out and moved to the fantastic music of the Ex Cathedra/Sing Maker band and their song leaders. The event was organised by the MK Music Service. Great fun!

β˜€οΈ Good news, everyone - the sunshine is making a comeback this coming week! β˜€οΈ

While we can’t control the weather, we can keep everyone comfortable. All of our classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, so our children and staff can stay cool and ready for learning, whatever the temperature outside.

We’ll keep outdoor time sensible and adjust activities if needed, but please help us by ensuring your child comes to school with:

🧒 A sun hat
πŸ’§ A water bottle
🧴 Suncream already applied before school

Here’s to a week of sunshine, smiles, and staying cool!

Group 2’s morning kicked off with a visit to Monkey World, where the children loved getting up close to the primates and discovering the incredible stories behind their rescues and rehabilitation.

Next, it was straight to Splashzone for an afternoon of water-filled fun! The lazy river proved to be a firm favourite, while the flumes were put to very good use as the children raced down again and again.

After refuelling with dinner, the excitement continued at Snowtrax. There was plenty of laughter and friendly competition as everyone sped down the slopes on ringos, all eager to see who reached the furthest and who got the most soaked by the water mist!

We said goodbye to group 1 earlier and group 2 are now tucked up and sleeping soundly. 😴 🀞

From the thrills of the day to an evening spent paddling in the sea and playing on the beach, it has been a day to treasure.

The children (and adults) are now recharging their batteries ready for more adventures that await tomorrow!

As part of Bears our Two year old provision "Outside" topic, we were delighted to welcome a special visitor who brought along a wonderful variety of minibeasts and small animals for the children to meet. The children had the opportunity to see a Giant African snail and her baby, a stick insect, a gecko, a blue beauty snake, a toad and tadpoles, a hedgehog, a spider, and even a hissing cockroach! The children enjoyed learning about the animals, observing them and even touching some of them. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that sparked lots of curiosity and excitement. A big thank you to our visitor for providing such an engaging and memorable experience!

After arriving safely, Group 1 of Year 6 refuelled with lunch before diving straight into the fun at Splash World.

From thrilling flumes to splash-filled laughter, the children had an unforgettable afternoon racing down the slides and making the most of every moment! πŸŠβ€β™‚οΈ

Back at the hotel, it was time to unpack, relax, and enjoy a well-earned, delicious dinner. This evening they have headed to the beach to watch the sun set over the sea - the perfect end to a fantastic first day.

Meanwhile, back at school, the children have launched straight into their action-packed themed week!

Creative skills have been put to the test as they designed and made their own masks, created hero and villain Top Trumps cards, and produced striking scratch-art masterpieces inspired by their favourite superheroes.

An exciting start to a fabulous week for all! ⭐️
