Gates will open 5 minutes early at the end of the day on Fridayfor families to come and celebrate with the children as we wave goodbye to our Year 6s. The children will form a leavers arch for the Year 6 children to pass through along with members of staff who are leaving us this summer. If you're able to, please come to cheer them through. Classes will then be dismissed from normal places other than Year 6 who will be on the top playground.

⭐️Amazing News!⭐️ Great Linford Primary School have achieved the 🏅School Games Gold Mark Award🏅 Well done to our PE leads Mr Jenkins and Miss Guy for championing high-quality PE at our school and to all the children who take part in weekly PE lessons, sports clubs and have competed for the school this year. We are very proud of the level of sports engagement here and the tradition of sporting success which we are growing!

The school has now won back-to-back Gold Awards, having never won the Gold Mark before, only ever reaching Silver once in 2017! A huge thank you to all the families who have supported the children at events or helped get them to and from competitions - we couldn't do what we do without the support of our GLPS families.

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

⭐️Primary SATs Week - Our Sparky Year 6s⭐️

🕗Monday 11th May - Thursday 14th May🕗

As our sparky Year 6 children approach SATs week, we want to take a moment to recognise just how far they have come. It is a chance to celebrate everything they have learned, the interests they have fostered and the ROOTS they have grown throughout their time at GLPS.

We're confident they will do their absolute best this week and that they will be proud of what they achieve, because we are incredibly proud of them. Thanks to all our GLPS families who have helped shape them along the way.

Don't forget Year 6 children can come to SATs breakfast from 8:15am from Monday to Thursday this week to help start their days off in school nice and early being calm, well-fuelled and with their friends.
