Well done KS2 for a very successful sports day yesterday! We even had a very important visitor- the Mayor of Milton Keynes.
The Year 5 children are learning to sing and play Shosholoza, a traditional Southern African song, that originated among migrant workers travelling to work in the mines of South Africa. The song became a symbol of unity, perseverance, hope, and community and was later associated with the struggle against apartheid.
Reminder to join us for our KS2 sports day tomorrow morning 🏃 🥎
