So hello… it’s been a minute! Hope you’re all well. October is just around the corner… time flies!
This month has been a mixture of emotions. I’m absolutely loving working with so many amazing new children. However, my health is a battle I’m continuing to fight.

On the 28th August I was diagnosed with an unexpected, rare, life changing auto immune disease. I am on incredibly strong medication which they continue to amend and add to with the more they are discovering; which means I’m now immune compromised. On top of that I’ve had PET scans, biopsies- with another scan and biopsy tomorrow. I seem to spend as much time at the hospital and medical appts as I do at home.

So apologies if I’ve missed any messages. My current focus is with the children I’ve already committed to. I’m very appreciative of all of the support, understanding and flexibility people have shown me.

Not the start to my business I hoped for, but despite this I’m doing my best every day to do what I love and try to be as positive as I can whilst fulfilling my commitments.

I will keep fighting, but I can’t do it without you all so thank you ✨🫶🏻✨

When I left the classroom after 17 years, my biggest fear was losing my passion and love for teaching. Teaching is so much more than a job to me, it’s who I am- well a huge part of who I am anyway. This week, tutoring and my little business has begun! New faces, new homes, new learning and… a lot of huge nerves and equal excitement (from me!)
The joy I have got from meeting so many wonderful young people and supporting them has been the most amazing feeling ever. I still have many left to meet and I cannot wait to get to know them too! It’s safe to say my passion and love for teaching is still there and still being put to good use every day 🥹
I’m so excited to see where my little business can take me! Thanks for all the support 💜✨

I hope you’ve all had a great half term! It was such a long 8 weeks… the children (and staff!!!) definitely needed a little break! 🎃🧡

I have such high demand currently, I’m looking at how I can reach more of you. Contemplating zoom group sessions (maximum of 4) and obviously it would then work out cheaper too. If you think this is of interest please message me and I will look into this further.
