A Moment of Respect

As a yard, we are proud to be part of the British Eventing community. Following the tragic loss of two riders, Sophie and Kerry, last week, our thoughts are with their families, friends, and everyone affected by these heartbreaking events.

In line with British Eventing, we will be holding a 2-minute silence at 11:00am this Saturday to pay our respects to two people who sadly lost their lives doing what they loved.

If you are at Luccombe Riding Centre at this time, we kindly ask that you join us or respectfully observe the silence.

☀️ Heat Warning ☀️

Unfortunately, due to the extreme temperatures, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all after-school lessons for the rest of this week.

With the real-feel temperature expected to reach 30°C and above, the welfare of our horses must always come first.

All booked lessons will be carried over to next week, and we'll be in touch if any rearrangements are needed.

Hi everyone,

On Saturday 10th October, we are holding an Auction Evening at the Brewery in Blandford to raise valuable funds for Changing Strides, our new therapeutic alternative provision opening this September at Luccombe Riding Centre.

As a registered charity (Charity No. 1216433), our aim is to provide an alternative educational setting for children who do not thrive in mainstream education, offering therapeutic, hands-on learning with horses in a safe, supportive environment.

To help make this event a success, we are looking for:
