Well, today is the day that I say my goodbyes to the last few childminding children as after 12 fun filled years it’s time for Mandi’s Childminding to tidy away the toys and close it’s doors. Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many families who have trusted me to look after their children, to help care, educate and nurture them, thank you mums and dads for choosing me to be your child’s childminder, it’s been an honour and an extreme privilege to of been part of their early years journey. Childminding is more than ‘just a job’ and the children become an extended part of our family and each child will always have a special place not just in my heart but in Ged’s and Nathan’s too.
To all the fantastic children I have looked after over the years, thank you for all the fun, laughter and love.
I’m glad I was your childminder,
I’ve come to love you so.
I can’t believe the end is here,
I hate to see you go.
I’ve watched you learn and grow,
And change from day to day.
I hope all the things we’ve done,
Have helped in some small way.
So, it’s with happy memories that,
I send you on your way.
With great hope and expectations,
For what your future holds in store.
