Milngavie Art Club celebrated the opening of Milngavie Week with a wonderful afternoon of art, music and guid company in Lillie Art Gallery.

We were delighted to have several of our students exhibiting their work, as well as our tutor Iain who is pictured beside one of his latest pieces.

Well done to the organisers, to Aileen Semple for her deserved win of the members choice award for her painting, ‘Into The Shadows’. Also to Romy for playing the piano so beautifully and to the fabulous bakers for their delicious homebaking.

Art at The Grange has now opened registration for adults and children’s classes, starting in August.

Milngavie Art Club's Annual Exhibition at the Lillie Gallery runs until 18th June. On Saturday 6th June from 2pm-4pm, Club members celebrate the start of Milngavie Week by offering free tea, coffee, juice and biscuits to visitors. Everyone is invited to enjoy viewing the exhibition, see and chat to our artists in residence, while being entertained by local pianist and former Miss Scotland, Romy.
