Douglas Academy Athletics Event -
We came home with bucketfuls of pride and resilience as all the Bearsden and Milngavie primaries competed in track and field events at Douglas Academy: shot putt, standing long jump, 60m sprint, 600m and team relay.
After some amazing displays of athleticism, Craigdhu were awarded 2 medals for 2nd place in the boys’ and girls’ long jump event. We achieved 3rd place in the boys’ 600m. We also achieved 4th places in the 60m sprint and girls’ shot putt.
We are so proud of these young people who are growing up to be fantastic individuals. We will miss them all when they leave in a couple of weeks. Well done to all!
