Congratulations to all of Year 11 who have collected their results today!
These results represent 5 years of hard work for the students of a cohort who have really embodied our school values of excellence, empathy, equity and empowerment. Their achievements today are not only a reflection of their hard work and resilience, but also of the way they have actively lived these values throughout their journey. They have supported one another with kindness and understanding, striven for excellence in their studies, embraced fairness and inclusion and empowered themselves and others to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
Stephen Kelly, Headteacher, said: "Since starting at Millom School, I have been deeply impressed by the exceptional attitude of our Year 11 students and the strong sense of community that defines our school. This is a good set of results, and I want to congratulate every single student for their hard work, commitment, and everything they have achieved during their time at Millom School. My heartfelt thanks go to our dedicated staff and governors, as well as to the parents, carers, and families whose unwavering support makes this possible. I wish all our students the very best as they take their next steps, and I will be pleased to welcome many of them back to our Sixth Form in September."
As our students begin their next chapters, whether in further education, training or employment, we wish them every success, both academically and as they continue to grow into young adults.
Well done - now celebrate well and enjoy the rest of summer!
