Miles Webster Music and Tuition Expert guitar tuition for children, teenagers & adults, from an experienced & enthusiastic musician! I can teach via Zoom too if necessary.

I am an experienced guitarist, singer and songwriter/recording artist, originally from Bath. My formal qualifications include a Foundation Certificate from Nexus Music Academy (Coventry) awarded in 2008 and a Certificate of Higher Education / Level 4 Diploma in Professional Musicianship (BIMM, Bristol 2015). I prefer to teach from my home studio but I can come to you for an ~£15 extra to cover fue

l, mileage and travel time. I have a DBS Certificate of Basic Disclosure for parents peace of mind. I teach people of all ages, from young children to pensioners. Regarding my teaching style, I make sure that every student learns good technique before I teach them the songs they want to learn and then I use said songs to teach good timing, which is essential in order to do songs justice. I teach other important skills like music theory and notation too, of course.

It's been a stressful but exciting return to guitar and songwriting over the last few weeks, culminating in a day at Nine Volt Studios, Melksham today. We've begun developing two of my songs, with producer Dom Bailey Clay. Full EP release to come this year, all being well and hopefully... lots of giggs too! 🎸🥁🎹📀

Excited to return to teaching guitar again, after taking a break to establish my landscaping business. I've resumed work by meeting a new student in Trowbridge and arranging a service of his guitar, ready for him to begin practicing the techniques we covered in session 1...and Sweet Child 'O' Mine by Guns 'N' Roses!!! 🎸

Rugby practice and guitar tuition don't mix! Arrived at a lesson yesterday to find my 9 year old student in his pyjamas, blanket pulled up over him, unable to lift his head or open his eyes... I told his Dad I'd come back on Tuesday...
