Join Our Team!

We're looking for a Caretaker / Facilities Manager to become part of the Conifers House School family.

You'll provide a comprehensive caretaking and facilities management service, ensuring that our school is a safe, clean, secure and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff and visitors. This includes the upkeep of buildings and grounds, management of on-site health and safety, liaison with contractors, and driving the minibus to transport pupils to activities and off-site events.

We have introduced a programme to all year groups at school called myHappymind. myhappymind is based around helping children to understand how their brain works and to support them in developing positive skills and habits to be their very best selves!

MyHappymind is delivered by our class teachers through a series of interactive lessons, and then the children apply these learnings throughout the day.

We need your help!

We're keen to help our young people make informed decisions about their future and would like to invite local businesses to visit us at school and chat to our students.

If you would be interested in supporting us by sharing your experience and insight, we would love it if you could:
• Speak with some of our older pupils about your role
• Explain what your job involves and what you enjoy about it
• Share your career journey and any advice you feel may help
• Give a short demonstration or show pictures/examples of your work

Alternatively, we would be delighted to arrange for a small group of pupils to visit your workplace, giving them a real-life insight into your industry.

Our aim is to inspire and inform our students, helping them understand the wide variety of career pathways available and to build confidence discussing their future options.
