SOLD! Our newest school residence is built and ready for its new occupants. Desirable location, spacious accommodation, large outdoor area and excellent local schools. 😉 All we need now is a lovely family of chickens to move in this September!

Miss Barnes has posted letters to all of our new Dragonflies this week. Each envelope contains a letter from their Year 6 buddy… introducing themselves and saying hello before September. They’re currently making their way through the postal system and will soon be landing on doorsteps!

Our brand-new polytunnel is complete and ready for September! We can’t wait to get growing with our children and make the most of this fantastic new learning space. A huge thank you to our amazing PTFA for funding the polytunnel through the proceeds of some of their events this year. Your support helps create wonderful opportunities for our children and we’re so grateful.

From learning their first sounds to becoming confident, fluent readers, we are incredibly proud of our pupils’ achievements in reading. This year 90% of our Year 1 children passed the Phonics Screening Check and 93% of our Year 6 pupils achieved the expected standard in Reading, way above the national average of 75%.

If you’re having a summer clear-out, our OPAL team would be so grateful for any donations, big or small, to help make our incredible lunchtimes even better! Our donation box is located in the school entrance. If you’re unsure whether something would be suitable, just email the school office and your message will be forwarded to the OPAL team, who will be happy to advise. Thank you for your continued support!

We give our children the very best start to their school journey and our latest EYFS results reflect just that.

This year, 82% of our Reception children achieved a Good Level of Development, exceeding the national average of 72%.

These fantastic outcomes reflect the hard work of our children, the dedication of our staff and the wonderful support of our families. We couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve achieved together.

Last week, our KS2 children headed to MRC to enjoy a fantastic performance by the children’s orchestra, Kidenza. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience live music and see a talented orchestra in action, inspiring many of our budding musicians. A huge thank you to West Sussex Music Service for organising such an enjoyable and memorable event!
